Services are scheduled on Saturday, May 28 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Hilardo V. Juarez of Artesia.
Mr. Juarez, 88, beloved Grandfather, Father, Husband, Brother, and Great-grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on May 25, 2016.
Fr. Martin Cornejo will officiate at the services. Pallbearers are Israel Juarez, Daniel Juarez, Marcos Juarez Sr., Marcos Juarez, Jr., Ricardo Juarez, Joseph Briseno, Salvador Briseno, Gabriel Briseno, Michael Briseno and Jose Juarez, Jr.
Visitation will be Friday, May 27th at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Hilardo entered this world on November 1, 1927 in Presidio, TX, born to Tobias Juarez and Albina (Valenzuela) Juarez. In 1950 he was married to Eloisa Navarette in Presidio, TX. She preceded him in death on December 12, 1982.
He served in the United States Army during World War II. Hilardo was a construction worker and a member of Our Lady of Grace. He was involved in Cursillistas, he loved people and had a great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a granddaughter.
He is survived by his daughters Grace Arnold of Artesia, Virginia Villalva of San Antonio, TX, Rosa Briseno of Clovis, NM and Delia Briseno of Dumas, TX; sons Hilardo Juarez Jr. of Artesia, Raymond Juarez of Hobbs, NM, Richard Juarez of Albuquerque, NM, Paul Juarez of Artesia, Jose Luis Juarez of Santa Fe, NM and Francisco Juarez of Santa Fe; sister Hortensia Hendrix of Houston, TX; 30 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
