Services are scheduled at 2:00 PM Friday, December 6, at Bethel Baptist Church for Henry Earl, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Earl, 63, died Thursday, November 28, 2002 at University Med. Center in Lubbock, Texas. Rev. Thomas Ford will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddie Kimble, Robert Combs, Ralph Rodriguez, Brent Thompson, Paul Hudson and Jimmy Taylor. Mr. Earl was born March 14, 1939 in Timpson, Texas; the son of Thomas Jennings Earl and Marian Bussey Earl. On May 10, 1979 he was married to Esther Odum in Las Vegas, NV. He came to Artesia in 1956 from Texas. He was a laboratory technician for Navajo Refinery and member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, both maternal and paternal grandparents and a favorite aunt. Survivors include wife Esther Earl of the family home; daughters Debra A. Earl of Artesia, and Jacqueline Y. Earl Robinson of Houston, Texas; sons Kenneth R. Earl of Roswell, Raynard E. Earl of Roswell, and Jarrod S. Earl of Artesia; sisters Alma R. Nary of Midland, Texas, and Delores L. Earl of Houston; brothers Alvin R. Earl of Houston, Artis J. Earl of Ft. Worth, Texas, Royce L. Earl of Artesia, Jennings A. Earl of Houston, John W. Earl of Timpson, Arthur S. Earl of Houston, Sterlin J. Gray of Timpson, and Earnest J. Gray of Ft. Worth; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
