Helga Idoy

Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Faith Baptist Church for Helga Oma Idoy, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Idoy, 70, died Monday, January 20, 2014 in Artesia.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son.

Helga was born May 5, 1943 in Frankfort, Germany the daughter of Godfried Gerhardt and Edith Jacobs Gerhardt. She came to Artesia in 1999 from New York.

On May 29, 1960 she was married to Daniel R. Idoy in Frankfort, Germany.

She was a customer service representative and a member of Faith Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Survivors include her husband Daniel Idoy of Artesia daughters Carmen Cerney of Artesia, Rosie Theriault of Artesia, and Caroline Asher of Artesia brothersand 2 sisters 6 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.
