Helen Arnold

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, at Harvest Fellowship for Helen Fay Arnold of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Arnold, 81, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Artesia General Hospital.

Ronnie Williams will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sonny Gonzales, Danny Ray Hinojos, Geno Gonzales, Dominic Andrade, Manny Mendoza, and Adam Andrade.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Helen was born April 29, 1932 in Turkey, Texas the son of Ray Shannon and Pearl Forsyth Shannon. She came to Artesia in 1978 from Roswell, N.M..

On May 5, 1950 she was married to Billy Elton Arnold in Portales, N.M. They came to Arteisa in 1978 from Roswell, N.M. He preceded her in death February 23, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents brothersinlaw Vernon Davis and Idris Arnold and a greatgrandson Brenton Monkey Andrade.

She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Fellowship.

Survivors include her daughters Lois Meachell Gonzales and husband Sonny of Artesia, and Dena LaNell Hinojos of Utah sister Dena Davis of Mason, Texas grandchildren Andrew Andrade, Adam Andrade, LaMaeya Mendoza, Manny Mendoza, Sierrah Hinojos, Danny Ray Hinojos, Erica Olguin, and Geno Gonzales and 12 greatgrandchildren.
