Hector Lopez

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A M Thursday, July 31, at Faith Baptist Church for Hector Alan Lopez, 2106 W. Mann Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Lopez, 25, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Houston, Texas. Rev. Michael Elliot and Rodolfo Gonzalez will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marcos Lopez, Jason Lopez, Cole Kinnibrugh, Santiago Calderon, Mikie Benavidas, Antonio Ruiz, Jeremy Haass, Jake Lopez, Carlos Soto and Brian Johnson. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Lopez was born August 15, 1982 in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico; the son of Enrique Lopez and Maria J. Gonzalez Lopez. He came to Artesia in 1986 from Mexico. On July 2, 2005 he was married to Kimberly Tolle in Artesia. He was a diesel mechanic. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, enjoyed fishing, boating, four wheeling, and loved spending time with his kids and family. Survivors include his wife Kim Lopez of the family home; parents Enrique and Maria Lopez of Artesia; son Diego Lopez of Artesia; daughter Ariah Lopez of Artesia; brother Marcos Lopez of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister Janette Lopez of Artesia; nieces and nephews Janelly Salinas, Alexy Salinas, Ethan Morales, Joshua Lopez, Annette Lopez, Adriana Lopez and Carlos Lopez.
