Hazel Teague

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia for Hazel Marie Busby Teague of Fort Worth, Texas. PMrs. Teague, 85, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in Arlington, Texas. PVisitation at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. PHazel was born April 7, 1923 to Ethel Peggy Grimlan Busby and William Elijah Busby in Munday, Texas. She attended Hobbs High School and remained a long time resident of Hobbs, New Mexico. She moved to Fort Worth in 1971 and was employed by Pan Handle Slim until retirement in 1990. PHazel enjoyed sewing not only for herself and family but for those less fortunate than herself. One of her greatest joys was making stuffed bears and donating them to the Jefferson Children's Home in Azle, Texas. She was not only a mother or grandmother to her own family but was known as Momma Teague to many others. PShe was preceded in death by her mother, father, her sister Mary Ellen White, her brother George Busby, and four grandchildren.
Survivors include daughter, Wanda Lois Mobley and husband, Bill; sons, Aubrey Glenn Teague, William Leon Teague and wife Karen, Richard Lee Teague and wife Gerry, and Bobby Ray Teague and wife Anita; a sister Nolene Tate; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
