Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Harrold Stephen Grissom of Lebanon, Oregon.
Mr. Grissom, 87, died July 2, 2020 at his home in Lebanon.
Pastor Ty Houghtaling will officiate at the services.
Stephen was born March 31, 1933 in Smithville, Arkansas, the son of James Grissom and Myrtle (Winters) Grissom. He was a longtime Artesia resident before moving to Lebanon.
Stephen served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.
On July 4, 1958 he was married to Elizabeth Sessum in Artesia, New Mexico.
He was a member of Elks Lodge in Lebanon, and the American Legion. Stephen enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to spend time with his family and made frequent trips back to Artesia.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Jarita Woods; and son Damon Grissom; and brother Herbert Grissom.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of the family home; daughter Velvet Grissom and son Colby Grissom both of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
