Harold Elless, Jr.

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, at First Baptist Church for Harold Hal Elless, Jr., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Elless, 51, died Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Artesia General Hospital. Rev. David Brunson will officiate at the services with cremation to follow. Visitation at Terpening Son Mortuary will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Hal was born January 21, 1954 in Belleville, Illinois; the son of Harold Elless, Sr. and Geralee Foley Elless. On June 15, 1972 he was married to Edith Grogan in Kermit, Texas. He came to Artesia in 1978 from Hobbs, N.M. He worked as a Corrosion Specialist for Agave Energy and was a member of the Pecos Valley Grado. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Edith Elless of the family home; his mother Geralee Elless of Midland, Texas; sons Jimmy Elless of Phoenix, Arizona, and Michael Elless and his wife Vickie of Coweta, Oklahoma; sisters Bonnie Long of San Angelo, Texas, Susie Snyder of Jal, N.M., and Marilyn Elless of Midland, Texas; and grandchildren Delaney Elless of Phoenix, and Kyler and Jackson Elless both of Coweta.
