Guy Flores

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 18 at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Guy William Flores of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Flores, 28, died Sunday, April 13, 2003 in Lubbock, Texas. Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Bivens, Jesus Pacheco, Manuel DeLaRosa, Jr., Mike Calloway, Tod Truog, and John Weber. Mr. Flores was born February 19, 1975 in Hollywood, California; the son of William Rhodes and Carman Marie Flores Rhodes. On June 26, 1999 he was married to Angela Orosco in Hobbs, N.M. They came from Hobbs to Artesia in 2000. He was a derrick hand for L R Well Service and enjoyed playing golf, writing, drawing, and spending time with his kids. Survivors include his wife Angela Flores of the family home; his father William Rhodes of Hobbs, N.M.; his mother Carman Marie Flores of Tucson, Arizona; father-in-law Gilbert Orosco of Artesia; sons Alex Flores of Paulsbo, Wash., Shadow Orosco of Artesia, and Shawn Orosco of Artesia; a daughter Shayna Flores of Artesia; brothers Carl Flores and Gabriel Rost of Bremerton, Wash.; sisters Tammy Pritchard and Bonnie Rhodes of Bremerton, and Sonja Colpits of Junction City, Oregon; grandparents Hope and Jean Vertefeuille of Bradenton, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
