Guadalupe Flores

Funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 12 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Guadalupe G. Flores of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Flores, 82, died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.

Burial will follow the mass at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Aguilar, Alex Aguilar, Adriean Becerra, Omar Flores, P.J. Becerra, and Chris Becerra.

A rosary is scheduled for Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace.

Guadalupe was born June 5, 1935 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Pedro Flores and Eriberta (Garcia) Flores.

In 1986 she moved to Artesia from Hagerman, New Mexico.

Guadalupe was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and worked as a housekeeper. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and loved to spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Delores Becerra; brother Juan Garcia Flores; nephews Adan Becerra, Juan Flores, Jr., Alonso Flores, Fernando Flores, and Aaron Flores.

Survivors include her daughter Alicia Flores and Guadalupe Rojo of Artesia, sister Trinidad Flores Urias of Van Horn, TX; grandchildren Destiny and Joshua Rojo both of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
