Graciela Lopez

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 11,  at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Graciela Norma Lopez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Ms. Lopez, 43, died February 7, 2021 at her home in Artesia.

Fr. V J will officiate at the services.  Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Pete Munoz, Damian Munoz, Alijah Gomez, Nico Gomez, Eloy Aguirre, and Hugo Aguirre.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Watkins, Jeremiah Lopez, Eric Lopez, Efren Lopez, Pete Munoz Jr., Dominic Munoz, Amy Gomez, Laura Favela, Tammy and Brian Goodman, and Enrique Lopez.

Graciela was born May 10, 1977 in Artesia NM to Manuel Lopez and Carmen Onsurez Lopez.  She was a lifelong resident of Artesia and an office manager in the oil and gas industry for several years.  Her boys were her pride and joy.  She loved being with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Gregorio and Josefina Onsurez and great-grandparents Cresencio and Rufina Onsurez; paternal grandparents Encarnacion and Estefana Lopez and great grandparents Juan and Maria Lopez, and Gonzalo Lopez.

She is survived by her parents Manuel and Carmen  Lopez; sons Jason Watkins  of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jeremiah Lopez of Artesia; brothers Eric Lopez of Artesia and Manuel Efren Lopez of Odessa Texas; sister Rebecca Munoz and husband Pete; nephews Damian, Pete Jr. and Dominic Munoz; nieces Kandyce and Katrina Lopez; Uncles Chris Onsurez of Artesia, Enrique Lopez of Artesia, and Carlos Lopez of  Odessa Texas; Aunt Mary Helen Aguirre of Artesia.
