Glenn Jimenez

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday July 27, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Glenn M. Jimenez of Artesia, N.M.

Mr. Jimenez, 66, died July 22, 2016 at his home.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Bob Bratcher, Vernon Asbill, Tony Huerta, David Porter, Ricky Esquibel, Sug Floore, Willie Pinson, and Stan McKee. Honorary pallbearers will be all other Seniors at the Artesia Country Club.

Glenn was born March 22, 1950 in Marfa, Texas; the son of Juan Jimenez and Carolina Marquez. He was married to Elsa Franco on August 30, 1977 in Ft. Stockton, Texas. He came to Artesia in 1979 from Ft. Stockton.

He received a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and was a case worker for the State of New Mexico at the Roswell Correctional Center.

Glenn was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Eastern New Mexico Seniors Association, Artesia Country Club and enjoyed golfing, watching movies and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother David Jimenez and a sister Natalia Perez.

Survivors include Elsa Jimenez and Mark; his companion Kris Martinez of Carlsbad; sons Jon Fellows and wife Sandra of Alpine, Texas and Juan Jimenez and wife Peggy of Artesia; daughter Gail Jimenez of Artesia; brothers Sam Jimenez of Marfa, Texas and Oscar Jimenez of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Andrew, Gabby and Aaron Fellows, Bo Williams, Gage and Karsyn Jimenez.
