Geraldyne Rogers

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 19, at Woodbine Cemetery for Geraldyne J. Rogers of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs.Rogers, 91, died June 15, 2019 at her home in Artesia.

Ty Houghtaling will officiate at the services.

Geraldyne was born September 10, 1927 in Elk, NM to William Culbertson and Catherine Fleming. On July 10, 1946 she was married to Albert Quentin Rogers in Artesia. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2014.

She was a housewife and a lifelong resident of Artesia. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed bingo and playing cards. She had a love for all animals and spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest pride was being a part of the Rogers Farms 100+ years farming legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Kent Rogers, two brothers and seven sisters.

Survivors include her son Charles Rogers of Artesia; grandchildren Denise Rogers, Christopher Rogers, KayAnne Gray, Kimberly Rogers and Thomas Quentin Rogers; great-grandchildren MilliAnn Gray, Jeighton Gray, and Locklyn Gray.
