Gerald Wilson, Jr.

Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Metairie, La. for Gerald Anthony Jerry Wilson, Jr. Internment followed in the Metairie Cemetery. PMr. Wilson, 62, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009. PJerry was born January 7, 1947 in El Paso, Texas; the son of Gerald A. Wilson and Annah Nell Beene Wilson. They both preceded him in death. PHe graduated from Artesia High School in 1965 and proudly served in the United States Navy in Vietnam and stateside from 1965 to 1969. POn February 10, 1980, he married Holly Fant in New Orleans. PHe is survived by his wife Holly Wilson of Metairie; a sister Mona Williams of Artesia, nieces Rebecca Williams of Denver, Colo. and Deborah Zacher and husband Gary of Plainview, Texas; and several other family members.
