Gerald Madron

Memorial services are pending for Gerald Dee Madron, 401 S. 41st St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Madron, 60, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Madron was born September 15, 1946 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Bill Henry Madron and Beulah Forister Madron. On June 6, 1992 he was married to Billie F. Northrip in Artesia. He was a lifelong Hope and Artesia resident. He was a Gas Plant Operator for Duke Energy and member of the Hope Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife Billie F. Madron of the family home; son Clifton Madron of Amarillo, Texas; daughter Neesa Madron of Amarillo; step-son Tommy Lee and wife Tammy of Sulphur Springs, Texas; step-daughters Sabra Kimple and husband Kyle of Artesia, Shannon Wolfe and husband William of Artesia, and Stacey Briand and husband Arnauld of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers Billy Madron of Arkansas, Harold Madron of Arkansas, Lonnie Madron of Texas, and Bobby Madron of Artesia; sisters Barbara Ripley of Roswell, and Betty Ripley of Alabama; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Charity of Choice.
