George Bohlin

George Bohlin, 81, passed away on June 28, 2018 at his home in Hagerman, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

George was born on July 27, 1936 in Chesterton, I.N.; the son of George and Margaret (Ursutz) Bohlin. On April 7, 1958 he married Valerie Plear in Huntington, England. George was enlisted with the United State Air Force for 10 years. The Bohlin family moved to Hagerman in 1986 from Iowa. George was an Electronic Technician and a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed sculpting, casting, metal work, welding, custom painting motorcycles, computers, electronics and chemistry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Stacy and daughter-in-law Staci.

Survivors include his wife Valerie Bohlin of Hagerman; sons Michael David Bohlin and wife Lyn of Westside, IA, Richard George Bohlin and wife Peggy of Roswell, NM and Stephen John Bohlin and wife Virginia of Grand Junction, CO; daughter Teressa Marie Wallace and husband Martin of Hagerman; grandchildren Scott, Jason, Kelsey, Jessi, Alexander, Marcus, Courtney, Felicia, and Jakeb; great-grandchildren Dylan, Dalton, Emma Grace, Mindi, Connor, Brendan, Sky, Gabriel, Sunshine, Maddox and Breckin.
