Geneva Bueno

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 19 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Geneva Tesillo Bueno, Artesia Good Samaritan Center, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Bueno, 78, died Sunday, December 16, 2001 at Artesia General Hospital. Father Virgilio Flores will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. A Rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace. Mrs. Bueno was born April 22, 1923 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the daughter of Isabel Tesillo and Tomasa Sosa Tesillo. On October 26, 1940, she was married to Jose Vias Bueno in Carlsbad, N.M. She came to Artesia in 1941 from Tularosa, N.M. She was a housewife and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and one sister. Survivors include her husband Jose V. Bueno of Good Samaritan Village, Hobbs, N.M.; daughters Connie Delgado, Virginia Ruiz and Beatrice Madrid all of Artesia and Mabel Countz of Wichita, Kansas; sons Joe Bueno, Jr. of Denver, Colo., Pete Bueno of Hobbs, N.M. and Tino Bueno of Artesia; 23 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.
