Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19 for Gayle Swearingen, 1101 W. Hermosa Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.
PRev. Monty Leavell will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Visitation will be at Terpening amp Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Monday.
PGayle was born April 26, 1912 in Kenton, Tennessee the daughter of J. W. Sharp and Eula Tilghman Sharp.

PFollowing college, Gayle taught school for a short time and worked for Guy Chevrolet for 30 years where she was office manager. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
PSurvivors include a niece Judy Rivers of Queen Creek, Ariz. nephews Joe Clements of Higley, Ariz., Bill Clements of McIntosh, N.M. and John Clements of McIntosh and numerous greatnieces and nephews.P
