Fred R Garcia

Fred R Garcia, 78, of Artesia, NM passed away peacefully on 29 August 2024. His Memorial Service will be held on 24 September 2024 at 10:00AM at Trinity Temple in Artesia, NM.

Fred was born on 2 Oct 1945 to Julia Reyes and Elias Garcia in Artesia, NM. He was the second eldest of their five children. He married his high school sweetheart, Billie Jean. They have two sons, Garrett (Maria Garcia, spouse) and Phillip. Fred began his cement career working with his dad then ventured into his own business, Paisano Concrete Construction. 

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Elias Garcia and Julia Reyes, his wife Billie Jean Garcia, his brothers Elias Jr. Garcia and Rubin Garcia and his sister Alma Hernandez. He is survived by his sons, his sister Nora Sanchez (Lorenzo Sanchez, spouse), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He loved them dearly.
