Francisco Medrano Jr.

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Hagerman, N.M. for Francisco Pachito Rey Madrano, Sr., of Hagerman. Mr. Medrano, 66, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico. The burial will be at the Hagerman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joaquin Rey, Fidel Marcelino Rey, Manuel Rey, Alfredo Rey, Martin Rey, Dolores Rey, Romolo Rey, and Genaro Rey. A Prayer vigil is scheduled for Thursday, May 4, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church beginning at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Medrano was born June 10, 1939 in Mesquite Ojinaga, Chiahuahua Mexico; the son of Romolo Rey and Rosa Madrid Rey. In January of 1980 he was married to Bibiana Ronquillo in Roswell. He came to Hagerman 40 years ago from Mexico. He worked as a laborer. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters Senaida and Maria Rey, and a son Guillermo Rey. Survivors include his wife Bibiana Rey of family home; sons Francisco Rey, Jr. and wife Maria of Hagerman, N.M., Marcos Rey and wife Avelina of Presidio, Texas, Romolo Rey and wife Lori of Dexter, N.M., Armando Rey, Sr. and wife Suzette of Dexter, Jose Rey of Hagerman, and Rito Rey of Hagerman; daughters Esvarda de la Cruz and husband Daniel of Hagerman, Rosa Elva de la Cruz and husband Felipe, Sr. of Hagerman, and Margarita Rodriguez and husband Jaime of Ojinaga Chiahuahua, Mexico; step-sons Barbaro Ronquillo and wife Maria of Farmington, N.M., and Eusebie Ronquillo of Ojinaga Chiahuahua, Mexico; brothers Joaquin, Fidel, Marcelino, Manuel, Alfredo, Martin, Dolores, Romolo, and Genaro; sisters Maria, Antonia, Candelaria, and Lupe; 18 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
