Frances Price

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at First Baptist Church for Frances Price of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Price, 82, died on Friday, June 14, 2019 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Ty Houghtaling will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brandon Price, Jared Price, Tyler Donovan, Brayden Price, Garrett Price, Mark White, Colton Deel, and Keaton Collins.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Frances was born on November 2, 1936 in Miles, Texas; the daughter of Vernon Jones and Bessie Michulka Jones. On January 30, 1955 she was married to George Price in Ralls, Texas. They came to Artesia in 1957 from Ralls. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2006.

She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church and the Sigma Phi Sorority. Frances enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and baking, and loved her many dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters and a great-grandchild.

Survivors include her sons Blane Price and wife Lisa of Newalla, Oklahoma, Barry Price of Artesia, and Glenn Price and wife Teri of Hobbs; daughters Wendy Helmer of Tyler, Texas and Lisa Deel of Artesia; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
