Frances Combs

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, at First Baptist Church for Frances Combs, 1706 Booker, Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Combs, 74, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at her home in Artesia, New Mexico. PRev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her sons and honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren. PMrs. Combs was born October 24, 1931 in Sealy, Texas; the daughter of Arnold Robert Manna and Rosa Ognoski Manna. POn June 23, 1951 she was married to Walter Earl Combs Jr. in Bay City, Texas. She came to Artesia in June 1965 from Orange, Texas. He preceded her in death Oct 21, 1998. PShe was a dietician for the Artesia Public Schools and Artesia General Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church. PPreceded in death by husband, parents, and an infant brother Lawrence Manna. PSurvivors include five sons, Benjamin Combs and wife Amanda of Crowley, Texas, James Combs of Artesia, Bobby Combs and wife Beth of Artesia, Larry Combs and wife Cheryl of Bonham, Texas, and Gary Combs and wife Paula of Levelland, Texas; three brothers Paul Manna and wife Donna of San Antonio, Texas, George Manna and wife Barbara of Bay City, Texas, and James Manna and wife Patty of Bay City; 12 grandchildren Jason Combs and wife Heather, Douglas Wooden, Andrea Wooden, Michael Combs and wife Jessie, Kimberly Lazano and husband Homer, Robert Combs and wife Gabriela, Chris Combs and wife Kimberly, Adam Combs, Leslie Dunbar and husband Paul, Lindsay Combs, Cody Combs and wife Jessica, and Bradley Combs; 7 great-grandchildren.
