Florentino Garcia

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Florentino E. Floyd Garcia, 902 N. 6th St., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Garcia, 66, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at his home.

Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bonnie Sanchez, Johnny Flores, Robert Lopez, Jessie Cadena Jr., Jerry Flores, and George Salas Jr.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 am Tuesday. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Mr. Garcia was born October 26, 1944 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Genaro Garcia and Margarita Espinosa Garcia.
He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

He was a custodian and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, he was an Usher and active at the Senior Citizen Day Care.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a brother Joe Garcia of Artesia sisters Isabel Cadena of Ruidoso, N.M., Reyes Sanchez of Henderson, Nevada, Marie Danchuck of Laguna Nigel, California, and Tillie Belis of Carlsbad, N.M.
