Florence Gibson

Memorial services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, at West Main Baptist Church for Florence L. Dooley Gibson of Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Gibson, 28, died Friday, November 6, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Jason Kraft will officiate at the services. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mrs. Gibson was born July 31, 1981 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the daughter of Patrick T. Dooley and Karen Bishop Dooley. On August 23, 1999 she was married to Robert Gibson in Arvada, Colorado. She grew up in Artesia and later moved away. She returned home in 2005 from Sante Fe, N.M. Florence worked as a bookkeeper. We will cherish the memories of our beloved Florence and keep in our hearts her kindness and generosity for all of time. We love you Flo. Survivors include her husband Robert Gibson of the family home; parents Patrick and Paula Dooley of Artesia; son Evan Gibson of Artesia; daughter Elora Gibson of Artesia; brother Patrick L. Dooley of Roswell, N.M.; grandparents Herman and Jo Ann Johnson of Peoria, Illinois.
