Fay Thompson

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 12, at Hermosa Drive Church of Christ for Fay Waller Thompson, 1114B S. 4th St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Thompson, 64, died Monday, June 9, 2008 at her home. Michael Joiner and Robert Waller will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bryan Thompson, Blake Thompson, and Brent Thomspon, Rob Waller, J.T. Thompson, Chase Goodall, Paul A. Thompson, and Jessie Wright. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday Mrs. Thompson was born September 15, 1943 in Seagraves, Texas; the daughter of Robert A. Waller and Bonnie Branscum Waller. She grew up in Artesia and returned in 2004. She was a counselor and member of Hermosa Drive Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include son Paul A. Thompson III and wife Brigette of Snyder, Texas; daughter Lea Ann Thompson of Lubbock, Texas; sister Mary L. Waller of Alamogordo, N.M.; brother Robert Waller of Ft. Worth, Texas; 5 grandchildren Alec Ray, Bryan Thompson, Blake Thompson, Brent Thompson and Chase Goodall; great-grandchild Jaycee Lynn Ray.
