Fabian Casares

Services are scheduled Wednesday for Fabian Phillip Casares of Artesia, New Mexico.

Fabian, 25, died on August 16, 2021 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Maria Bustamante will officiate at the services. Cremation will take place following the services. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary on Tuesday, August 24th from 1-6 pm. Services will take place Wednesday, August 25th at Forever Free Fellowship at 11 am in Artesia, NM.

Fabian was born on July 31, 1996 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the son of Eric Casares and Isela Marquez.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Consuelo Casares, grandfather Steven Casares Sr., great-grandfather Inocente Alvarado, uncle Steven Casares Jr., cousins Angel Ray Garcia, Cassie O. Chavarria and Isaiah B. Hernandez.

Survivors include his mother Isela Marquez; his father Eric Casares; step mother Juana Jimenez; step father David Longoria Jr.; sisters Destiny Sarabia, Breanna Marquez, Mia Nunez, and Erella Casares; brothers Benny Ray Casares, Eric Casares Jr., Carlos Casares, Joshua Casares, and Xavier Lara; grandmother Mary Marquez; nieces and nephews including Michael Zander Sarabia, Heavenly Gracelynn Sarabia and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly.
