Eva Feezel

Graveside services will be scheduled at a later date for Mrs. Eva May Feezel of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Feezel, 94, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at Landsun Health Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Cremation is under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Eva was born September 25, 1922 to Carl F. Wilson and Maggie (Shaw) Wilson in Alluwe, Oklahoma.

On August 30, 1940 she married Clyde E. Feezel in St. Charles, Missouri. They came to Artesia in January of 1947. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, a daughter-in-law, and a son-in-law.

Eva was a true homemaker. She enjoyed canning food, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children David Feezel of Greenville, Texas, Cathy Patterson and husband James of Odessa, Texas, Tommy Feezel and wife Donna of San Antonio, Texas, and Janet Ream of Artesia; 12 grandsons; and 29 great-grandchildren.
