Eva Evans

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Eva V. Evans of Midland, Texas.

Mrs. Evans, 91, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Bobby Argo will officiate at the services.

Eva was born October 13, 1922 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma the daughter of Robert Lee Graham and Effie Gholson Graham. She came to Lakewood, N.M. in 1929 from Oklahoma then moved to Artesia a few years later.

On November 23, 1942 she was married to Jerry Evans in Carlsbad, N.M. He preceded her in death October 5, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Ronald Evans in 1962.

She was a OwnerOperator of a few hair salons and fixed hair for over 40 years. Eva was also a member of Trinity Temple.

Survivors include her son Paul Evans of Ruidoso daughter Patsy Wiggleton and husband Bill of Midland, Texas grandchildren Lisa Guerrero and husband Rick of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dana Curdy and husband Robert of Las Vegas, Nevada greatgrandchildren Samuel, Julietta, and Elaina.
