Eulalia Villegas

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses for Eulalia P. Villegas of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Villegas, 97, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Elder Richard Leaton will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Ray Villegas, Max Villegas, Jr., J.J. Larranaga, Frankie Villegas, Henry Perez, Joshua Larranaga, and Jessie Villegas, Jr.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Villegas was born December 6, 1913 in Ruidosa, Texas the daughter of Ramon Porras and Augustina Dominguez Porras.

On November 20, 1937 she married Juan Villegas in Marfa, Texas. They came to Artesia in 1953 from Pecos, Texas until moving to Albuquerque in 2000 where she was cared for by her daughters Mary Rose and Helen. Juan preceded her in death November 30, 1967. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Maximiano Villegas, a sister and 2 brothers.

Eulalia was a homemaker and loved to speak to others about Gods word. She was a mother of eleven children and a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses.

Survivors include her sons Raymon Villegas of Artesia, Frank Villegas and wife Virginia of Albuquerque, Joe Villegas and wife Rose of Albuquerque, Jessie Villegas and wife Yolanda of Odessa, Texas, and Gustabo Tubby Villegas of Las Cruces, N.M. daughters Margie Larranaga and husband Job of Peyton, Colorado, Viola Perez of Artesia, Mary Rose Gallegos and husband Horacio of Albuquerque, Juanita Molina of Artesia, and Helen Larranaga and husband Samuel of Albuquerque 35 grandchildren and 63 greatgrandchildren.
