Ernestina Tena

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 6, at Our Lady of Grace Church for Ernestina Venzor Tena, 55 Lawrence Ranch Rd., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Tena, 54, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at Artesia General Hospital. A rosary is also scheduled at 6:30 P.M. Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Mrs. Tena was born April 7, 1951 in Chihuahua, Mexico; the daughter of Socorro Venzor and Celia Palacios Venzor. On January 1973 she was married to Humberto Tena in Mexico. She came to Artesia in 1980 from Mexico. She was a housewife and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by mother and a sister Concepcion Venzor. Survivors include her husband Humberto Tena of the family home; father Socorro Venzor of Mexico; sons Aurelio Tena of Artesia, and David Tena of Artesia; daughters Patricia Fuentes of Artesia, Andrea Tena of Artesia, and Fatina Tena of Artesia; brothers Candelario Venzor of Mexico and Santiago Venzor of Mexico; sisters Maria Ortega of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Gregoria Herrera of Mexico; 5 grandchildren.
