Ernest Morales

Ernest Anthony Morales Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 20, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Ernest Anthony Morales, 718 W. Cleveland, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Morales, 28, died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Artesia General Hospital. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 P.M. Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Father Richard Lifrak SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence Ornelas, Marcos Lopez, Omar Pando, Carlos Martinez, Fabian Aguilar, Roman Aguilar, Joe Cavazos, and Eddie Pando. Mr. Morales was born December 19, 1976 in Albuquerque, New Mexico; the son of Eleuterio Cortes and Cecilia Morales. He came to Artesia in 1977 from Albuquerque. He was a Maintenance worker for Navajo. He graduated from Artesia High School in 1995, and was a member of the Catholic Denomination. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his wife Janette Lopez of Artesia; mother Cecilia Morales of Artesia; father Eleuterio Cortes of Roswell, N.M.; sons Ethan Anthony Morales of Artesia, and Damian Hernandez of Artesia; brother Eleuterio Morales of Artesia; and sister Tina Reza of Artesia.
