Erin Ramsey

Funeral services are scheduled at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at First Baptist Church for Erin J. Ramsey of Artesia, New Mexico.


Erin,32, died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Joey White will officiate at the services with cremation taking place under the direction of Terpening and Son Mortuary following the services.



Erin was born September 20, 1980 in Hobbs, New Mexico the daughter of Don Tidwell and Pam Reed. She came to Artesia in 2008 from Hobbs, New Mexico.

On June 25, 2010 she was married to the love of her life Darrel Ramsey after meeting on the popular site Myspace.

She was awesome mother and wife. She worked at Central Elementary School as a teachers aide.

She was preceded in death by her dad Don Tidwell.

Survivors include husband Darrel Ramsey of the family home daughter Madison, Mia, and Maysen Wood of Lovington, New Mexico sons Justin Ramsey of Ness City, Kansas and Sean Ramsey of Artesia mother Pam Reed of New Braunfels, Texas grandmother Dorthy Tidwell of New Braunfels grandparents Bonnie and Jack Griffin of Hobbs sisters Amanda Santana of New Braunfels and Bailey Mobley of Houston, Texas brother Collen McBride of New Braunfels aunt Susan Griffin of Oklahoma. Extended family includes Vicki and Joe Cline of Florissant, Colorado Roger and Judy Ramsey of Lake Arthur, New Mexico grandma Jerry Ramsey brotherinlaws David and wife Amanda Ramsey, Alan Cline and girlfriend Nicole Green of Maryland Roger Wade and wife Jennifer of California sisterinlaw Kim Cline of Pratt, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
