Enrique Sifuentes

Services are scheduled at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Friday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m. for Enrique Henry Sifuentes of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Sifuentes, 88, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at his home.

Fr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his sons, Mario, Manny, Chavelo, and Martin Sifuentes along with Chavez Sifuentes, and Francisco Quintana.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. A rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Enrique was born July 17, 1923 in Jerez, Zaccatecas, Mexico the son of Bacilio Rodarte and Petra Sifuentes.

On January 24, 1947 he was married to Maria De Jesus Briseno in Mexico. They came to Artesia in 1960 from Mexico.

He was a plumber for Artesia Plumbing and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was also a vicepresident of the Legend of Mary of Artesia and a former member of Cursillistas.

He was preceded in death by his parents daughter Juanita Dalquist and a son Enrique Sifuentes, Jr.

Survivors include wife Maria De Jesus Sifuentes of the family home daughters Elisa, Maria, Petra, Soledad, Carmen Sifuentes, and Henrietta Sifuentes Bratcher brothers Mario, Manuel, Chavelo, and Martin Sifuentes grandchildren Adalis, Chavez, Zanzibar, and Myranda Sifuentes, Dion S. Reid, Lisa, Adrian , Aaron, Marisol, Francisco, Marcos, Carlos, Victoria, and Alex Sifuentes, Candace Sifuentes Delgado, Moises Sifuentes Delgado, and Sylvia Sifuentes Delgado greatgrandchildren Andrew, Brian, Derek, Noel, Stephanie, Emily, Phillip, and Gabby.
