Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 17, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Enemenzio Alaniz Ybarra of Artesia, New Mexico. PMr. Ybarra, 83, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Artesia General Hospital. PFr. Richard Lifrak SS. CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Loving Village Cemetery in Loving, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Enemenzio Ybarra, JR., David Ybarra, Donald Ybarra, Chris Anaya, Ricarte Ybarra and Dennis Ybarra. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Thursday beginning at 12:00 p.m. A prayer service will be at Our Lady of Grace Church Thursday beginning at 6:30 p.m. PMr. Ybarra was born February 19, 1923 in Charla, Texas; the son of Cruz Ybarra and Andrea Alaniz Ybarra. POn June 17, 1944 he was married to Antonia Anaya in Loving. They moved to Artesia in 1960 from Roswell, N.M. PEnemenzio worked as a farm laborer and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. PHe was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Cecelia Meza.
Survivors include his wife Antonia Ybarra of family home; daughters Delma Garcia and husband Juan of Roswell, Delia Mendez and husband Manuel of Hobbs, N.M., Dora Ybarra of Artesia, Della Rodriguez of Blackwell, Texas, Janie Salmon and husband Richard of Artesia, and Diane Sanchez and husband Andrew of Casper, Wyoming; sons Enemenzio Ybarra, Jr. of Loving, David Ybarra and wife Luci of Artesia, Donald Ybarra and wife Sylvia of Carlsbad, N.M., Chris Anaya of Loving, Ricarte Ybarra of Artesia, and Dennis Ybarra of Artesia; a grandson that was raised by him Chris Salmon of Artesia; sisters Maria Ybarra of Waco, Texas, and Louisa Ybarra of Sweetwater, Texas; 43 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
