Emilio Guzman

Services are scheduled for 10 am Monday, November 20 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Emilio Guzman of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Guzman, 77, died on November 16, 2023 at his home in Artesia.

Father Vijay will officiate at the services. A rosary is also scheduled for 9:30 am on Monday. Visitation will follow the services at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 11 am to 6 pm on Monday.

Emilio was born on August 8, 1946 in Durango, Mexico; the son of Ruben Guzman and Maria de la Cruz Villezca Guzman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Modesta Guzman, and brothers Antonio, Asuncion, and Guadalupe Guzman.

Survivors include his wife Ana Maria Guzman; sons Emilio Guzman Jr. and Rey David Guzman; daughters Anabel Guzman, Maria Guadalupe Renteria, and Cruz Elvia Carrasco; brothers Octavio Guzman and Isidro Guzman; sisters Luisa Guzman and Estreberta Guzman; also by 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
