Emilio Bustamante

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at Our Lady of Grace Church for Emilio Santiago Bustamante, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Bustamante, 17, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Fr. Francis Lazer will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Perez, Derek Wiggins, Gabriel Garcia, Christopher Garcia, Matthew Martinez, and Jordan Ornelas.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary from 2p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Emilio was born August 21, 1997 in Carlsbad, New Mexico the son of Jimmy Bustamante and Nora Martinez Bustamante.

He was preceded in death by his older brother Santiago Bustamante in 1986 paternal grandparents Lino and Merced Bustamante.

Survivors include his parents of the home sisters Teresa Wiggins and husband Derek, and Jennifer Perez and husband Jeremy nieces Daisha, Alexis, Evalyn, and Adena nephews Coby and Christian maternal grandparents Eugene and Socorro Martinez and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Emilio attended Artesia High School where he enjoyed being around his classmates and loved attending Pep Assemblies. Emilio loved baseball and his favorite team was the Yankees. He also enjoyed playing catch.
