Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, September 16 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Eliseo A. Luevano, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Luevano, 82, died Sunday, September 12, 2004 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Father Richard Lifrak, SS. CC. will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery with military graveside rites. A rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace. Visitation at Terpening Son Mortuary will begin at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday. Mr. Luevano was born November 13, 1921 in Artesia; the son of Ambrosio Luevano and Sara Aguilar Luevano. On December 23, 1941 he was married to Francis Porras in Artesia. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a brick layer and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church; Cursillistas; St. Francis Chapter; and the Holy Name Society. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Elias Luevano; and a sister Eliosa Martinez. Survivors include his wife Francis Luevano of the family home; a son Ambrosio Luevano and wife Gloria of Lovington, N.M.; a brother Joe Luevano of Artesia, N.M.; sisters Francis Garrison of Albuquerque, N.M., Erlinda Perez and husband Gonzalo of Artesia, Elvira Salinas of Carlsbad and Alice Bass of Snyder, Texas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
