Elisa Bejarano

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 19, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church In Artesia, N.M. for Elisa Ortiz Bejarano of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mrs. Bejarano, 47, died Friday, August 15, 2003 at her home. Father Richard Lifrak will officiate at ther services with burial Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Mesquita, Christopher Mendoza, Jesse Bejarano, Greg Franco, Raymond Mesquita, Sr., and Nieves Chavarria. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 P.M. Monday at Terpening Son Mortuary. Mrs. Bejarano was born November 13, 1955 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Marcelo Bejarano and Elisa Ortiz Bejarano. She was a resident of Artesia until moving to Las Cruces in 1985. She was a CNA at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, and attended Our Lady of Health in Las Cruces. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister Marcela Bejarano. Survivors include sons Raymond Mesquita, Jr. of Roswell, N.M., Christopher Mendoza of Las Cruces, and Marcelo Bejarano of Las Cruces; daughters Mary Ann Mesquita of Lake Arthur, N.M., Marsha M. Baca of Las Cruces, and Carolyn Mesquita of Las Cruces; a brother Jesse Bejarano of Las Cruces; sisters Mary Bejarano of Fresno, Calif., Ortencia Artiaga of Alamogordo, N.M., Clementa Lopez of Roswell, Manuela Mendoza of Artesia, Luz Montoya of Lovington, N.M., Josie Chavarria of Lake Arthur, and Catarina Vasquez of Loving, N.M.; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
