Elidia was born on January 22, 1939 in Ft. Stockton, Texas, the daughter of Tomas R. Dominguez and Maria Carrasco Dominguez.
Kind, Smart, Loving, and Beautiful. Elidia was a very loving sister and mother, and helped raise 8 sisters and 6 brothers, when their mother became sick. She was the oldest sister, and gladly took up her role in making sure the other siblings were fed, clothed and taken care of. Her hobbies were sewing and needle point, and growing her rose bushes. She had a "Green Thumb," and everything she grew did so amazingly well. She was an excellent cook, and her recipes are coveted by the sisters and her son and daughter. Elidia loved her dogs and occasional cat and even turtles. She loved shopping, and was known to be in the same store for hours, while everyone went to other places and came back to find her in the same place. She loved JESUS, and was a member of St. Anthony's Church, and even taught classes there. Elidia loved to serve in her church. Mostly she loved spending time with family, and especially at sporting events with the sisters. These stories are legendary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Felipe Guerrero, sons Richard and Greg Guerrero, and brothers Tom Dominguez and Robert Dominguez.
She is survived by her son Mike Guerrero and wife Jeanna of Midland, Texas; daughter Francine Guerrero of Artesia; brothers Joe Dominguez and wife Gloria, John Dominguez and wife Mary, Eddie Dominguez and wife Laura, and Danny Dominguez; sisters Soccoro Madrid, Kathy Ramirez and husband Adam, Stela Hernandez and husband Rick, Olga Rivera and husband Johnny, Gloria Rosella Johnson and husband Jack, Patricia Gamez and husband Lupe, and Mary Alaniz and husband Danny; brother-in-law Orlando Guerrero and wife Christina.
