Edubijes Flores

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 25 at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Edubijes Montez Flores, 504 S. 2nd St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Flores, 70, died Friday, March 22, 2002 at her home. Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ralph Flores, Bob Atole, Charlie Lamkin, Jason Flores, Santiago Padilla and Lynann Wells. Mrs. Flores was born April 11, 1931 in San Juan, Chihuahua, Mexico; the daughter of Lab Montez and Inez Salazar Montez. On January 26, 1951 she was married to Francisco Flores in Presidio, Texas. She came to Artesia in 1963 from Malaga, New Mexico. Her husband preceded her in death December 2, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She was a homemaker and dishwasher at La Fonda Restaurant; and was member of Spanish Assembly of God. Survivors include daughters Luz Maria Wells and Rosa Wells both of Artesia; sons Juan Manuel Muoz of Ojinaga, Mexico, Francisco Flores, Jr. of Alamogordo, N.M., Ben Flores of Roswell, N.M., Jose Flores of Lovington, N.M., and George Flores and Harvey Flores both of Artesia; several brothers and sisters; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
