Edmundo Valenzuela

Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Terpening & Son Mortuary for Edmundo Valenzuela of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Valenzuela, 76, died March 10, 2019 at Covenant Specialty Hospital in Lubbock, TX.

Cremation will follow the visitation under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Edmundo was born November 2, 1942 in Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico; the son of Alejo and Margarita (Morrales) Valenzuela.

In 1967 he was married to Alicia Zepeda in Mexico. They moved to and made Artesia their home later that year.

Edmundo worked as a farm laborer, and was known as the "Burrito Man" by many in the Artesia area.
