Dorothy Barraza

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 1, at Woodbine Cemetery, for Dorothy Lee Barraza, 610 Washington, Hagerman, New Mexico. Mrs. Barraza, 76, died Monday, June 27, 2005 at Casa Maria Nursing Center in Roswell, New Mexico. No visitation is scheduled. Mrs. Barraza was born July 12, 1928 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Sterling Price Bowman and Cybil Celeste Campbell Bowman. She was a lifelong area resident. She was a housewife and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by parents, a daughter Judy Huffmon and a brother Richard Bowman. Survivors include sons Randy Sessum of Carrollton, Texas, and Johnny Duran of Hagerman; brothers Steve Bowman of Artesia, and Sam Bowman of Ohio; sisters Sandy Hill of Artesia, Barbara Davis of Chandler, Arizona, and Carol Groves of Chandler; grandchildren Dakota Duran, Diede Munoz, and Cindy Huffmon; great-grandchildren Jonathon, Ashlie, Cheryl and Wyome.
