Services are scheduled for 9:00 am Friday, July 15, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Dora Ann Jones of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. Jones, 83, died on July 9, 2022 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Clyde Jones will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the Upper Hope Cemetery, Hope, New Mexico.
Ann was born on October 31, 1938 in Farmington, New Mexico; the daughter of Ralph Bunce and Lenna Francis Hubbard Bunce.
She was a homemaker, served as the Hope Town Clerk for many years, worked at the Hope Post Office and was a member of the Artesia D.O.E.S #45.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dolph Jones, a brother and a sister, and her son Tommy Jones.
Survivors include her sons Clyde Jones and wife Paula, and Cory Jones and wife Cindy; a daughter-in-law Debbie Jones; a brother Lewis "Squeaky" Bunce; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
