Donna Gary went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 26, 2007. Mother, Sister, Friend, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Doe, she answered to many names, but all who knew her knew she was a special lady. She loved doing things for others and making other people happy. She was involved with and enjoyed her work with the Artesia Does, because through their benevolent works, she could make others happy. Donna was born May 20, 1937 in Golden, Colorado to John O. Walker and Lois M. Walker Green. She grew up in Limon, Colorado and graduated from Limon High School in 1955. She moved to Artesia from Denver, Colorado in 1979. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Wills and husband Bear, Glenda Collins and husband Bill, Deanna Teel and husband Mike all of Artesia. Daughter Joleen Menix and husband Karl of Wolfforth, Texas. Grandchildren Nicole Givens and husband Brian of Albuquerque, Doug Collins and wife Kristin of Artesia, John Scooter Teel of Aurora, Colorado, Jayd Collins of Artesia, Janelle Iczkowski and husband Brad of Albuquerque, Joshua Kelley of Denver City, Texas, Amanda Teel of Artesia, Desirae Collins of Portales, N.M., Deidra McKinney of Albuquerque, and Matthew Kelley of Wolfforth. Great-grandchildren Tyler Givens of Albuquerque, Caiden Iczkowski of Albuquerque, and Kambry Collins of Artesia. Sister Jan Rauch and husband John of Artesia, brothers JD Walker and wife Kelly of Cathedral City, California, Dan Green of Denver, and Gibb Green and wife Beverly of Windsor, Colorado. There is no public viewing scheduled. A memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Artesia Elks Lodge. A memorial scholarship has been set up in Donnas name by the Artesia Does. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send contributions for the memorial scholarship to the Artesia Does, P.O.
