Donetta Palmer

Ms. Palmer, 67, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her home.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Donetta was born on December 15, 1950 in Holdenville, Oklahoma; the daughter of Everett R. Dees and Maxine F. Bohannon Dees.

She came to the Artesia area in 1959 from Oklahoma.

She was a homemaker and retail clerk. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and had a great love for horses.

Survivors include her sons Cass Palmer of Ft. Myers, Florida and Matt Palmer of Artesia; a sister Margaret Ann Mitchell of Roswell, N.M. and a grandson Aidan C. Palmer.
