Donald Truex

Memorial graveside services in Ohio will be scheduled at a later date for Donald R. Truck Truex of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Truex, 63, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Artesia. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Truex was born April 28, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio; the son of Donald Robert Truex, Sr. and Clara Coon Truex. He was a long time Artesia resident. Donald worked as a driller on many of the local oilfields. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother Thomas James Truex. Survivors include his father Donald Robert Truex, Sr.; sons Michael Otley and wife Chrissy of Artesia, Bob Truex and wife Maryann of Roswell, N.M., and James Truex and fiance Leticia of Amarillo, Texas; sisters Becky Myers of Shiloh, Ohio, and Joanne Rand of Greenwich, Ohio; brother Mike Truex of Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
