Donald Baca

Memorial services are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Westside Church of Christ for Donald J. Baca of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Baca, 52, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Thomason Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Bill Henry will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Baca was born April 24, 1955 in Downey, California; the son of Edward Baca and Mary Lois Redwine Baca. On Oct. 10, 1996 he was married to Beverly Sharon Stone in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was raised in Artesia and returned in January 2007 from Reserve, New Mexico. He was a Police Officer and a member of Westside Church of Christ. He was also a member of the I.T.P.E. Union. Survivors include his wife Beverly Sharon Baca of the family home; daughter Danielle Justine Wolf and husband George of Roswell, N.M.; sons David Baca of Roswell, and Derek Baca of Iraq; step-daugther Kristin Hord of Tucson, Arizona; step-son Eric Hord of Artesia; brother Edward James Baca and wife Donna of Reserve, N.M.; sister Charlene Lopez and husband Raul of Tucson, Arizona; five grandchildren all of Roswell; father-in-law and mother-in-law Cicero and Geneva Holland of Artesia.
