Don Landcaster

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, at First Baptist Church for Don Landcaster, Artesia, New Mexico. PMr. Landcaster, 68, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at his home. PRev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keigan Landcaster, Kooper Landcaster, Carlton Smith, Glen Kaiser, John Yates, Jr., and Harlan Pool. Visitation at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary will begin at 10:0 a.m. Thursday. PDon was born February 8, 1939 in Wolfforth, Texas; the son of William Landcaster and B. Etta Reynolds Landcaster. On Jan. 10, 1958 he was married to Alma Pool in Progress, Texas. They came to Artesia from Texas in September 1959. PHe owned and operated Landcaster Electric and was an electrician with Southwestern Public Service for 21 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church; a licensed minister; former volunteer fireman; and was active with Boy Scouts and 4-H. PDon was preceded in death by his parents; by a son Donald Gene Landcaster; and by a sister Joyce Terrill.
Survivors include his wife Alma Landcaster of the family home; a son Carl Landcaster and wife Hope of Midland, Texas; grandchildren Keigan, Kooper, and Karson Landcaster all of Midland; and a niece Betty Jean Terrill of Levelland, Texas.
