Dolores Losoya

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at Terpening Son Chapel for Dolores Losoya of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Losoya, 31, died Monday, July 18, 2011 at her mothers home.

Jim McFarland will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be T.J. Aguirre, Joshua Wooten, Jacob Wooten, Ismael Paul Gomez, Marcos Gomez, Kristopher Madrid, and Eric Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Drey Burge, Terry Wayne BurgeLino Aguirre.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Dolores was born January 28, 1980 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Martin Losoya and Nancy Luevano Losoya. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

She was married to Shawn Carter.

Delores was a Manager at McDonalds and also a caregiver for her nephew.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents a niece and her first husband Cody Burge.

Survivors include her parents Martin and Nancy Losoya of Artesia sons Anthony Drey Burge, Terry Burge, and Eric Carter all of Artesia daughters Iris Daniella Losoya, and Sunshine Arriana Carter both of Artesia sisters Michelle Aguirre, Laura Aguirre, Leticia Jorgensen, Cristina Losoya, and Sarah Losoya all of Artesia and her husband Shawn Carter of Hagerman, N.M.
