Deloris Conley

Deloris D. Conley, 79, died May 29, 2018 at her home in Artesia, New Mexico. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Mrs. Conley was born November 7, 1938 in Lackey, Kentucky the daughter of Clint Patton and Gladys (Ratliff) Patton.

On July 21, 1954 she was married to Clifford Conley in Lackey. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Deloris was a longtime Artesia resident after moving to Artesia in 1991 from Kentucky. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as an administrator in a Nursing Home in Kentucky. She enjoyed crafts including sewing, working with ceramics and loved to visit with friends and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters Andrea Spears and husband Herbert of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Catherine Rader and husband Dale of Elkhart, Indiana; sons Jim Conley and wife Margie of Placitas, N.M., Stephen Conley of Midland, TX, and Barry Conley and wife Pam of Artesia; brothers Bob Patton of Fairfield, Ohio, Elmer Patton of Kentucky, Otis Patton of West Virginia, and Clinton Patton of Kansas; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
